Hayley & Ryan | Tekapo & Mt Cook Pre-Wedding Shoot
The couple was radiant, their joy and love for each other shining through in every picture.
We captured their laughter as they chased each other along the lake’s edge, their quiet and intimate moments as they stood hand in hand, looking out over the stunning landscapes, and their playful antics as they posed under the twinkling stars.
We had the vast, scenic landscapes of Queenstown as our first backdrop.
With its stunning vistas of the Remarkables mountain range, it was an ideal location for pre-wedding photos. The couple posed against the backdrop of the turquoise waters of Lake Wakatipu, and the dramatic peaks of the mountains.
Our journey continued to Wanaka, a picturesque town nestled amongst the Southern Alps. Wanaka is famous for its crystal-clear lake and panoramic mountain views.
Here, Hayley and Ryan posed beneath the iconic Wanaka tree, as the sun set behind the mountains. The iconic Lake Pukaki was our next stop.
The turquoise waters of the lake, fed by glaciers, were a stark contrast to the brown and green landscape surrounding it. The couple stood on the edge of the shore, their eyes locked in an intimate gaze, as the snow-capped peak of Mount Cook loomed in the distance.
As we moved on to Lake Tekapo, the landscapes changed, becoming more rugged and wild. The couple posed on the rocky shore of the lake, the famous Church of the Good Shepherd in the background.
The mood of the shoot here was serene and romantic, with the couple sharing a tender moment beside the tranquil waters.
Our final stop was Brass Peak near Mt Cook. They stood on the peak, overlooking the vast expanse below, their love for each other evident in their intertwined hands and shared smiles.
The night photoshoot at Lake Tekapo was perhaps the most magical. The couple stood beneath the stars, their silhouettes against the stunning night sky. The famous Church of the Good Shepherd stood in the background, its stone structure illuminated by the starlight.
