The Peninsula at Kelvin Heights offers three beaches by Lake Wakatipu, one facing west towards Cecil Peak, another facing north towards Queenstown central and then the east side facing back towards Queenstown Airport.

Just 12 minutes away from Queenstown Airport.
This is a handy and mostly quiet spot (except during Christmas and New Years) that is located quite centrally in Queenstown, and is quite often chosen as a secondary photography or ceremony spot.
